Helen Keller was born deaf and blind yet managed to become a prominent speaker, author, and one of the most inspirational figures of the 20th Century.
"Peace at Eventide" is a small-format book (46 pages) written by Helen Keller setting out Keller's views on death, and providing hope and comfort for the bereaved. The interior is clean and tight. The paper has tanned slightly, but there are no other marks. The blue covers are in very good condition, with light wear overall. Inside it is beautifully inscribed by Keller: "To Mrs Chandler - The shifts and defences we use against death are powerless. - Helen Keller"
